Speedy double at Bendigo
Centenario and Delightful Mia, who were both bred and reared at Benstud Standardbreds, broke the clock at Bendigo on Tuesday night (February 5).
Outstanding three-year-old Centenario, who was bred by Benstud, set a new track record of 1:53.5 over 2150 metres including a 53.8 last 800, while Delightful Mia posted a career-best 1:53.6 over 1650 metres.
Centenario, out of Beninjurd, has won nine of his 13 starts and $307,970 in stakes.
Delightful Mia, who was bred by a syndicate including media man Rob Auber, has won six races including five this season.
