Sirletic sizzles first up

Talented pacer Sirletic, who was bred and raised at Benstud Standardbreds, was a most impressive winner in 1:57.1 at Melton on Monday night (January 28).

Having his first outing for five months, the five-year-old gelding was sent straight to the front and was never afterwards headed.

Sirletic carved out his last 800 in 56.7 and 400 in 27.1 in his 4.5 metre win.

He has won nine of his 15 starts to date for $91,000 in stakes.

Bred by Benstud client Harvey Kaplan, Sirletic is the first foal of the Falcon Seelster mare Indigo Breeze NZ.
