She Envy scores at Shepparton
The Benstud Standardbreds bred and owned mare She Envy hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:54.7 when she overpowered her opposition at Shepparton on Friday (February 1).
After settling midfield, the five-year-old mare was tipped three-wide at the 600 metre mark and produced a long, probing run to prevail in the last few strides.
She clocked the last 800 in 55.7 in the breeze!
She Envy has won 10 races and $56,000 in stakes.
She is the first foal of the $97,000 winning mare Hectic NZ, a daughter of Broodmare of the Year Alldatglittersisgold NZ.
