American Zest breaks Boort track record

 

Tough four-year-old American Zest, who was bred and raised at Benstud Standardbreds, set a new track record at Boort on Monday (January 7) after sitting parked throughout.

 

The entire rated 1:57.9 over 1900 metres highlighted by a 57.9 last 800.

 

American Zest has won seven of his 19 starts including his last three on end.

 

Bred and part-owned by Benstud client Harvey Kaplan, the entire is the second foal of the Life Sign mare Flair For Life.
